The more inbound links you have the better your SERP will be. Simply create a page on your web site and call it "Interesting Resources" or "Links", and place a maximum of 50 links per page and no more than 6 such pages per website as you don't want the Search Engines to think your website is a link farm.
Most of these Link Exchange services FREE version only allows you to request 5 - 10 link trades each day so if you join 4 or 6 of them then you could make 20 - 60 request each day. It takes only a few minutes on each site once you get used to them.
Please note that the response rate is about 2 - 3 out of every 10 request you send out. This is quite normal as it is all a numbers game. If you do this 30 - 60 days for each website you own you should have around 500 links traded.
